Steve Cummings

Steve, our Mandela Day Tour de France stage winner had another stellar season in 2016, establishing himself as one of the most successful breakaway riders. He won stages at the Tour de France, Criterium du Dauphine, Tirreno-Adriatico, and Pais Vasco. He also secured the overall of the Tour of Britain. After having ridden at the World Tour level for a few seasons already, Steve will continue to be an asset to our team going forward.

While Steve had ridden in support of a designated team leader for the majority of his career, he went on to show his strength and capabilities when given the freedom to ride for himself over the last two seasons. He will once again be one of our African Team’s key riders in 2017.
