Tomorrow Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka will take on the Swiss one day event, the GP du Canton d’Argovie.
The GP du Canton d’Argovie is a traditional UCI 1.HC Swiss race, held just ahead of the World Tour, Tour de Suisse. With our African Team set to start Switzerland’s national tour on Saturday, we will also be lining up for Argovie tomorrow.
The 186km race will again take place around a circuit course in Gippengen. The punchy riders will hope to make use of the small climb on the circuit, and distance some of the sprinters, but history tells us a reduced group sprint is the most likely outcome.
Going to battle for our African Team tomorrow will be Tom-Jelte Slagter, Julien Vermote, Nic Dougall, Scott Davies, Merhawi Kudus and Igor Anton.
Bingen Fernandez – Sport Director
We don’t have a particular favourite for tomorrow’s race, and with the current injuries & illness we still have within our squad, we will start with a lean team tomorrow. Whenever we line up for a race though, we are proud to represent our partners and the Qhubeka charity, so we will look to make a good race of tomorrow’s opportunity.

Gone are the days of milk being delivered to your door, but at least it’s guaranteed that the in-form team delivers their best rider to the finish line in Leuggern. And perhaps they can then celebrate and recover with a glass of milk?
