Mark Renshaw

Rider

Mark Renshaw, known as one of the best lead-out men in the business, has been Cav’s last man in-line for a large majority of the Manxman’s victories. In his own right, Renshaw has racked up 12 pro wins during his 12-year career thus far. As a junior and senior track world champion, the Australian has always possessed raw speed which was pretty devastating for rival teams going up against the Cav-Renshaw combo.

Riding for Africa’s Team, Renshaw will primarily be doing what he has done best, leading out our sprinters. The 35-year-old has had success in the winds of the Tour of Qatar, the tough French roads of Tro-Bro Leon and the rain at the Tour of Britain.

In 2018 his expertise against the elements will be a valuable resource for our African riders while looking over his shoulder to ensure Cavendish is on the wheel.
