Ryan Gibbons


2017 was Ryan Gibbons neo-pro season and the young South African impressed from early on. Gibbons took his first professional win at the Tour de Langkawi by sprinting to the win on stage 5. Gibbons consistency in Langkawi saw him also secure the GC title.

Gibbons strong start to the season earned him a place on our Giro d’Italia team and the 23-year-old South African impressed again with 6 top-10 placings during the Giro. In 2018, Gibbons will our 2nd main sprinter, behind Mark Cavendish, with the Giro d’Italia once again on the cards for Ryan.
