Steve Cummings

Steve, our Mandela Day Tour de France stage winner had a stellar season in 2016, establishing himself as one of the most successful breakaway riders. He won stages at the Tour de France, Criterium du Dauphine, Tirreno-Adriatico, and Pais Vasco. He also secured the overall of the Tour of Britain.

2017 was a more difficult year for “Stevo” with crashes at both the Vuelta a Pais Vasco and Tour de France ruling him out of action for quite some time. That being said, Steve still managed to become double British National Champion by winning the time trial and road race in June last year.

After renewing his contract with our African Team, Steve will once again have the freedom to target individual success during the 2018 season.
