With Paris-Roubaix looming, the World’s best teams were checking out the infamous Pavé sectors today – riders were greeted with all four season’s in one day as they were exposed to sunshine, wind, rain and cold all in a matter of hours. The 100th edition of the Ronde van Vlaanderen proved to be as dramatic as expected with numerous crashes taking out a number of top contenders. Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka were caught in the carnage too but the team fought on to have Edvald Boasson Hagen finish just outside of the top 20. The Gent-Wevelgem was a tough race in tough conditions. Our Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka riders were at the forefront of creating the splits in the crosswinds.
