Our 2018 season will conclude once again with the final World Tour race of the season, the Tour of Guangxi. The 112th edition of ‘The Race of the Falling Leaves’ promises to be as exciting as ever, following the familiar course starting in Bergamo and finishing in Como. As the racing for our team starts to draw to a close for the 2018 season, Gran Piemonte presents another opportunity for our African team to shine. This 191km event was last held in 2016 with Giacomo Nizzolo, who will ride for us from 2019, victorious on that occasion. Toms Skujins (Trek-Segafredo) sprinted to victory from a select group at the Tre Valli Varesine, crossing the line ahead of Thibaut Pinot (Groupama-FDJ) and Peter Kennaugh (Bora-Hansgrohe).  The 98th edition of the Tre Valli Varesine was an attacking spectacle that saw Merhawi Kudus and Natnael Berhane both form part of the finale, for our African Team. The UCI 1.HC event covers a distance of 212km and will provide an opportunity to those who take a liking to the short punchy climbs around Varese. Bauke Mollema (Trek-Segafredo) soloed to victory ahead of Carlos Barbero (Movistar) and Manuel Belletti (Androni Giocattoli – Sidermec). The 23rd edition of Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli was a 196km circuit race around Monteveglio. Each lap contained a short sharp climb creating tough conditions for the day. Søren Kragh Andersen (Team Sunweb) won Paris-Tours ahead of Niki Terpstra (Quick-Step Floors) and Benoit Cosnefroy (AG2R La Mondiale). The 112th edition of the race offered a new improvised route, with the final 60km of racing containing seven new climbs. Alessandro De Marchi (BMC Racing) won the the Giro dell Emilia with a strong solo effort over the closing kilometers. Rigoberto Uran (EF-Education First) finished in 2nd place and Dylan Teuns (BMC Racing) rounded out the race podium.
