Ryan Gibbons, Mark Renshaw and Rasmus Tiller earn selection for Schelderprijs – refreshing our lineup after a tough outing at the Tour of Flanders.
The 202.3km race, starting in Terneuzen and finishing in Schoten, has often seen the fast men prevail, with Fabio Jakobsen the defending champion. But the wind is expected to play a big role on Wednesday that could well be a key factor in deciding the result.
He said it:
“Really excited to be heading back to Belgium for Scheldeprijs, it felt great to race again in De Panne and hopefully I have better legs than in my first race.
“I know the race very well having ridden it many times before. It will be nice to help Edvald and the guys who have been racing the last few weeks in Belgium for a good team result.” – Mark Renshaw
