Our lineup for the Vuelta a Burgos features an exciting mix of youth and experience including a debut ride for trainee Alexander Konychev.

Louis Meintjes and Amanuel Ghebreigzabhier form the focus of our climbing ambitions in this exciting race where they will be ably supported by the likes of Scott Davies, Jacques Janse van Rensburg and Stefan de Bod.

This race in particular forms part of Meintjes looking to build following an injury disrupted opening six months of the year. His most recent outing was at the Clasica Ciclista San Sebastian after coming through the Adriatica Ionica Race.

Italian sprinter Giacomo Nizzolo starts, following his sixth place at the RideLondon-Surrey Classic while there’s a first outing for his exciting young compatriot, trainee Alexander Konychev from our continental team.

“At the moment I’m taking the races day by day with growing confidence. I’m looking forward to the race and the opportunities that it will offer in conjunction with being good preparation for some other races to come still in the season ahead.” – Giacomo Nizzolo

“As a team we’re looking forward to Vuelta Burgos and getting stuck in this week. It’ll be the last preparation race for a few of the guys heading to the Vuelta a Espana, and great to have Alex Konychev join us as a stagiare from the Dimension Data continental team.” – Scott Davies
